Phil , I think it's covered in the main clubstylus site under build or set up ? All sorts plus Protech specifically.

Phil , I've just searched on google and found B& R special tuning. They have instructions on altering protech levels of damping.

You turn the adjuster up to the max you then loosen the grub screw holding the knurled adjuster you the turn the adjuster back to the min position while holding the shaft to stop it turning back. Tighten the grub screw and then adjust to the max and the repeat the slacking and returning to the min again you are then in the third adjustment range. You have to be careful when returning the adjuster to the min poss in case the spring and ball come out (don't let the adjuster move up the shaft) and disappear into orbit. This was how Tim told me to do it.

Hope this helps George

Thanks Rob

Maybe i'm having a blonde moment here, doing it Tim's way, if you go up and down twice on the adjuster you know you are on the third range as it says you should be in the setup section on here, how do you know what range you are on doing it the other way?, it just says turn it half a turn clockwise to increase or anti clockwise to decrease, but how will that compare with Tim's settings, is it just trial and error? surely it will be spot on using Tims experience i know it seems more fiddley but he's the man that knows. or have i missed something

Seeing as I don't use Protech , you're best talking to Tim if the protech site doesn't make it clear to you. I have no personal experience of them.
