Long enough to put a very big grin on my face!

Been having a bit of a battle with it the over the past couple of months with nothing really working as planned. I did get it running a bit better than this, but I have no idea what the fuelling is like as I didn't want to put my lambda sensor in the exhaust until I'd burnt off the oil in the bores. I'll have a play over the next few days. The TB's are in desperate need of some balancing as well!

Had it running for just under half an hour tonight, I managed to get the throttle bodies balanced which were miles out! This has changed the fuelling loads, I adjusted idle back to something like sensible, but off idle is massively rich which is why it doesn't rev too freely in the video below. I ran out of light to play much more, but it is running much, much better. And my fan works, which is good as I had forgotten to look at the temperature whilst I was balancing the bodies!

Yep, plan is to grab a tax disc tomorrow. The car is a long way from 'finished', but tax and MOT means I can drag it round to my house and have access to electricity/kettle/warmth/etc :D

How are you getting on Dave?

Far too slowly, but I'm finally starting to jig up my new rear suspension this weekend.

Just stuck another 100miles on mine today, the first with the new axle and the new tank. Bit of a whine from the diff but my ears will soon get used to that, I hope.

Get some pics posted up as you do it Dave, it would be interesting to see

Rob , if you haven't got a plate type lsd in the new axle , use Millers diff oil and put ZX1 in with it first --- it will definitely extend diff life , possbly lessen the whine in the process
