Looks like mine isn't the only one up for sale at the moment!
Unfortunately I've decided it needs to go as I barely use it- too busy these days.

Unless you have paid to be a contributor on LCB you cant read For Sale Adverts until they are 48 hours old.
As others have said, far too cheap.

Sorry, I'd forgotten about the subscriber thing. Advert is below, hopefully you will have access to the pictures.
Sylva Stylus For Sale - £3.5k
Not sure how I feel about doing this, but here we go....
Early Sylva Stylus 'Classic', I believe the chassis was supplied in 1992, and it was SVA'd in 1998 on a donor T reg. Being an early one the frame is a modified Fury chassis as far as I can work out.
I purchased the car in 2012 (I think!) with a 1.3 X flow fitted. Since then it's had quite a bit of work, I've fitted a Blacktop Zetec on GSXR throttle bodies, Procomp supplied Protechs have replaced the ageing SPAX, I've re-done the dash and had a bit of a tidy up.
The engine is an ebay special so I don't know the history, but I had the head off. Bores looked good, had a bit of a tidy up, new head gasket, valve stem seals, lapped the valves and brought the valve clearances back into tolerance with new shims. New water pump and gates cam belt kit went on when it was re-assembled. The sump is a standard blacktop one modified by strontium dog on LCB for better ground clearance. Bogg Bros manifold which is a bit unique in that it takes the ST170 injectors in the standard Ford location with a Focus fuel rail and pressure reg. Injectors were serviced by Mr Injector prior to fitting. Loads of other stuff to aid the change to fuel injection, modified tank, swirl pot, fuel pumps etc, R9 hoses etc. Microsquirt ECU setup by Dale at Bailey Performance- power wasn't amazing at 156 bhp but it's got a good lump of torque and drags the car along very nicely. Small issue with leaning out at very low throttle angles, seems to be common to motorbike TB's- I haven't had chance to do much about it. Doesn't stop me driving it!
I had new dampers and springs supplied by Procomp to replace the long past it original SPAX. These have transformed the handling of the car. Yesterday I fitted grease nipples into the rocker arms and filled with grease which has cured the creaking front suspension and seems to helped the ride and handling a little- this seems to be common on this design on Sylva suspension!
For pics have a look in my for sale folder here: http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/photos. ... For%20Sale
Why £3.5k? I didn't really know how to price it. It's not finished, but it is registered, taxed, and MOT'ed. Unfortunately I don't get much spare time to play with it, the wife won't sit in it much further than the local pub as it messes up her hair, so it rarely gets used. Think of it as some fun for the remainder of the summer before tarting up in the winter and you'll have a great car for not much cash. Hopefully the price seems fair- I've set it lower than I originally intended hoping to rouse some interest. I don't want to accept offers at this price- it's £3.5k or I think I'll keep it as an occasional Sunday toy!
If you are interested drop me a U2U and I can give more details, pics, etc.
Thanks for looking.
