well at the moment i dont have a rolling chassis so i cant tell what its going to be like but the shorter rear arms are shaped like a bow, so i assume these are the newer ones, although everything will need setting up again once i drop it back on its wheels............. once i have some!
I have 2 mounts for each front shocks on the centre of the chassis, two are closer to the centre than the stock ones, apart from height, does anyone know what difference this will make to the set up.?
Newer rear suspension?

I'd be interested to know what car/chassis number , previous owner The pick up points you describe are exactly what I did to my car not long after finishing it , to lower the car without buying new shocks. Could have been someone who looked at mine or asked me about lowering cheaply However , mine were made to bolt into the standard pick ups so I could remove them or alter them , if it proved to be a bad move BUT it did a great job for 3 years till I completely redesigned the front end to get it lower still. Regarding set up if using the centre pair ----- springs will need to be up in poundage as they will be compressed easier at that angle to the rocker.(20 -- 30 lbs difference)Antnicuk wrote:well at the moment i dont have a rolling chassis so i cant tell what its going to be like but the shorter rear arms are shaped like a bow, so i assume these are the newer ones, although everything will need setting up again once i drop it back on its wheels............. once i have some!

If a pair of rear arms are bowed then you have the latest suspension at the rear . What length shocks /springs have been supplied if any
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Sorry, thought you knew, it was posted somewhere else, i'm not sure of the number but it was owned by paul maoudis. It had a cossie engine in it (soon to be a rotary). Where will i find the build number?
I'm not sure what length or size shocks are on the rear, which bit am i measureing?
The car came with several spare springs but i'm not sure of the rate, I suppose it would be a case of trying different things.
WHat indication is there that the springs need to be softer or harder?, although i'm a long way off that point at the moment.
