is the stylus a good buy
hi im wondering whether to buy a stylus, having previously built a tiger avon, i would like to know if there is ne hidden complications, like things not fitting properly, and loads of silly annoying modifications needed to make things work, like i had building the tiger. This can be very tiresome, and knowing a person who bought a westfield reasently and finished it in a few weeks from the delivery date, i wondered if i would get the same engineered standard with a stylus, and less headaches than the tiger. I really want to build a different car thats not the duldrum of the seven. Is the stylus going to be for me?

Tiger to STYLUS or RT flip front ?
Well I'll say one thing and that's you wont build it in a few weeks. Having said that SSC now supply it in modules which makes the tricky bits already sorted . Best thing to do is go talk to Tim at SSC and find out what you get for the modules . Should be a doddle compared to buying it all in every nut/bolt bits/bobs plus running around looking for donor bits required.
Better still get a ride in one then you'll be smitten , it got me !

I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

The Stylus is not an Ikea flat pack kit. It has provided me with engineering challenges with the advantage of a safety net of Tim's and fellow builders experience to fall back on. No two cars are the same thank goodness, we can be individuals beyond deciding what wheels or radio to fit. Take the plunge, it can be like oily chess sometimes, and get the real buzz from building something, not just assembling it.
We're - flat - broke, but hey! we do it in Stylus!
THANKS TO ROB, TIM AND THE GUYS AT THE TEST DAY. (GOODWOOD)

Congratulations with your choice and welcome to the club Craig.
You won't regret your choice. The RT is a really nice car and in a league of it's own.
Wish I had a RT, but will have to do with the classic, maybe a conversion some day. Will do the Robert Farley impression.
When you get the kit and know what engine and so on, leave me a message and I'll put you on the site.
