Hi all,
Not long been a member, not long been into kit cars thinking about it. I am a biker or was, until, I was passed around the out side of one of those long on the A41, by what I think was the car at the top of the page. So what I hear you say. The problem is that I was ringing my Fireblades neck (doing a very safe speed officer) thinking I was Foggy. $h!t that car go's can any body fill me in on what that car has got in it and whats it top speed.

I don't know what the specs of Tim's car are, but I have a which kit magazine with the car featured in it, I'll scan it and send it to you. Interesting lecture.
Anyway, if you visit SSC, then you will see this car as it is the demo car of SSC.
The thing I know about the car is that it has a 2L raceline Ford Duratec that put out somewhere near 200bhp.
Scans will be done this weekend.
Just found that the article is online but with less pictures then in the magazine.

Hello '' FOGGY'' , Yes it does shift doesn't it . Was your vision along the dual carraigeway bit of the A41 from J20 M25 towards Aylesbury and possibly around 1st or 2nd of July ? If so , we were coming back from the TWMC sprint at Goodwood , me in a L.Cruiser towing my red Stylus with Tim following . He got pi----d off once we were off the M25 and shot off past me , sitting having a cuppa on my lawn when I got home ! He stayed over and travelled back to Wales the next day.(a Sunday).Tango Man wrote:Hi all,

Spec' is 225 - 230 BHP Raceline 2lt Duratec /throttle bodies , pro - c/r box , 3.89diff' , riding on 195x45x15 's with 7 inch rims. The diff' gives it very long legs , around 20mph up on my 134 + but it's the torque of the Duratec right through the range at 190ft/lbs that gives it such grunt in the higher gears. When on track for magazine tests etc , he has run a 4.4 diff' and that really does make it savage !!! but around 130 ish all out.
Are you close enough to the Aston Clinton / Tring area to have a look at mine and chatter / swap stories ?
Regards , Rob.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !
