Yep :D ---------- Matt and I had a sneaky preview at the ' buck ' last year but were sworn to secrecy . It looks better in the flesh too . Rather like a 60's Lotus 23b , Crossle and the like . The rear is higher than all the front end plus from dashboard to that higher rear there's a poly wrap around screen about 200mm . Then the bonnet drops away very low seeing as there's no engine in the way 8)
If I was building now I'd want to test drive it . I can see it with a car engine , say 250bhp , sitting on 13 inch wheels with 10 inch slicks rear & 8 inch fronts. Potentially awesome  Only trouble is that at this moment it's chassis is specifically for a bike engine --- not my thing :(
You could track race this and it would look good in any company even historic's 8) Another JP gem :D
He hasn't planned to poly cover the lights though ---------- shame
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Rob according to the webpage it says chassis to take Zetec SE, K series and Yamaha, so car engines are a possibility.
I would want to be able to use it on the road with weather gear and as it seems to have no doors that would be quite difficult as at present at least it has no screen or doors.

Well, been avoiding looking at the Sylva Webpage, but now its out there ...
Apologies to Jeremy if I give too much away, but I hope he sells lots of them.

Rob & I had a trip to Sylva last year when I was hankering after a R1OT.
Went & looked, spec decided, job done (or so I thought).
Then, as we were Stylus owners, Jeremy thought we might like his new concept car, which was tucked away off site.

Enter unnamed new car.... & if you're into 60s racers, its a car you just want to own & drive, whatever the powerplant. 8)

Probably more suited for the track oriented of you (or those prepared to get wet), but this is potentially a Radical type vehicle, with classic looks, for a Sylva build budget (£10K ish).

A bit like an Elva or a Brabham that cost £100K+..

The buck we saw couldn't take the car engine as it had been built on the SWB R1 chassis.
Although he was reluctant to do the work last year, by the time production comes,
Jeremy may well be able to accomodate the SE chassis too.

He's also penned a door & full screen version.... demand will supply.

The joys of the current car market have made me put off my plans for now.
I only have room for one kit car, & I'm not prepared to let a £10K build Stylus go for £3-4K.
The Stylus really is one of the better kit cars out there, I should be happy with it.

A Spectre with a 180BHP R1 chainsaw & around 500Kgs will be awesome.
I will build one in the very near future..

Regarding ----- not having doors  Just wait to you see it in the flesh and painted with poly wrap screen . It really is VERY VERY low , especially at the frontal area , it's lower than my Stylus even with my many lowering projects over the years . In short Spectre is a diminutive little car

Here it is for real but without nose , engine cover and poly wrap round screen . He says bodies will be ready to order in two weeks from now 8) That's very fast drawing board to reality :o

Latest pic's but no screen or light guards yet but you can invisage what'll look like finally 8) Put some 8 x 13 inch wheels/slicks on and you've got a very quick car if pushed along by a 250bhp zetec or SE :P phew

Yes , I've been following his website build  I still think it's spoiled having those very 60's cheap headlights ---- needs some poly covers then it would look stunning 8) plus a nice big 2lt lump in the rear chucking out 250bhp :P
