I'm not sure about the may date as its only a week after i get back from the Ring but i will bare it in mind.
I'm going to Woodbridge with Javeline Trackdays this saturday and then a little trip to the pod for a RWYB on sunday to see how she fares on the 1/4 mile

Re: Track Day
I went there last year Chris but was dissapointed with the way they ' coned ' out the two chicanes - one immediately after the other --- buggered up the flow . I've been to their KEEVIL event which was way better . Shame cos it's so near me and the ACSMC Sprint there in June on a fantastic layout , you'd love it plus you can camp over for a barbeque then watch the rallying the next daychill wrote:I am doing a track day at Abingdon Air field on 27th of May with Motorsports events if anybody wants to tag along ! Re: Track Day
Hi there...Nice car. The RT bodywork does have some nice touches.
I may be up for the day at Abingdon, but only if I get the car sorted by 1st May to retax it, and I'm hoping to get onto a MSE event at Hullavington or Colerne which are close to home before I venture further afield.
Will post another reply if I could make it

Re: Track Day
I did Abingdon last year. I found it quite challenging not having been there before and it took a while to learn. Lots of very quick cars there including rob, so had to look in the mirrors a bit in the morning. Much quicker in the afternoon though when I could remember where the corners were.
I've driven at Keevil and Hullavington quite a few times. Hullavingtons ok but there are 2 very long straights which are alright for a bit to see how quick your car is, but a bit boring after a while. If you are in that area I personally think Keevils a lot better. Its got a good mix of corners and one very quick one leading onto a straight and you get up to a fair old speed for breaking into the next corner which can have you pretty sideways if you go in too fast. I like it there a lot.

Re: Track Day
I wasn't sure how to add a car pic, so if you have any hints.
About the bonnet, I noticed someone else asked who may need it more than me, cos at least I have one. Let them have first refusal and if its not needed I'll buy it from you if thats still alright. Let me know, cheers.
