Well i've done 150ish miles in it and the only problem is it keeps snapping the rear exhaust mount, i'm using a mini type cotton reel to mount the rear of the silencer but it keeps seperating at the top of the cotton reel, so whats the best option as the rattle is annoying, obviously i can't solid mount it.
Make a "C" out of metal, then run a spring between the two ends to make an "O", this will allow movement while keeping it secure. possible downside is heatsink back into the chassis.

Alex
I was thinking along those lines as that set up was on my kart.

Phil
Are you mounting your exhaust bracket on top of the rubber cotton reel they are not designed to take suspended weight i.e. fix a solid bracket to the chassis then mount the reel on top of that ---------- then mount the exhaust on top of that reel
None of mine have ever broken mounted as designed in 7 years.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ ! Alfa Red 159 2.4 jtdm ti 260bhp 365lbft / BilsteinB12 + Adjustable Powerflex camber/castor bushes. Red STYLUS 2lt zetec 231bhp 185lbft Dunnell . RED 1972 Alfa 2lt GTAm replica 170bhp.
Doubt that anyone has Stylus chassis being the height and width they are , it would be difficult to either go under the chassis or better still go over the top rail and down the sill , unless you compromised the flow by cutting/shutting

hey rob
the tube weldded at an angle between the top and bottom chassis rails is in the way im contemplating cuting it out and welding in two similar struts eitherside of the new exhaust. the westy exhaust is such a great shape hardly any bends and it lines up perfectly with the sill tunnel do you think this tube removal will make any difference i would expect it may make it better? plus i have a pretty easy exhaust pattern if replacement is need in the future.
cheers rob.
Personally I'd work the exhaust around the tube but if not make VERY sure you replace it on very similar attachment points -- it gives rigidity to the front lower chassis
