Stylus gathering !

The ' met office ' forecast for Saturday/Sunday looks very good for the South coast and up above my area , also from Salisbury to way past the North M25 area

I have a few sheets to put over car cockpits if it showers too and there's plenty of room to stand/sit in the 20 x 20 ft Stylus shed (yes -- I've actually cleared it out

) Matt Downes has brought a 16 feet by 8 feet EZE-UP which we can erect too so the odd splash wont bother us any .

See you all Saturday

If you don't come it will mean that my diet will be the same for the next month

--- wont be able to nip to the pub either cos it'll be in the shed needing drinking --- that would be aweful

The ' ale ' is now in situ' and sampled after sitting for 24 hrs

and food for 30 ish . Cuppa' will be on tap for early birds

The forecast today still predicts good weather for Sat and Sun

Have sent you a PM Jasper . Mike Burke's also working last minute but have said it'll go on late evening plus others are staying over so time to chat on the sunny Sunday morning too if you bring a sleeping bag

Well ---- I had a headache at 4-30am but was fine by 8-30am with a pot of tea

Matt and Sharon stayed over and started breakfast with ' bucks fizz ' along with us and Stuart. Others who'd planned to stay over got called away for varieties of reasons . Stuart Parley and his wife were intending to stay over at the HOLIDAY INN 2 miles away from here but they rang about 4-00pm to tell them it was all full so the only option was HEMEL HEMPSTEAD , 15 MILES AWAY

They'd booked it in advance too so that was damn cheeky I thought

Anyway that's why they didn't drop in this morning for more chat etc.

We had several sessions of eating , finally going to bed about 12-30pm

Went well , weather was kind so very pleased just a shame some couldn't make it.

Oh

nearly forgot ------------ the beer went down a treat but plenty left

Rob! thanks for a great day! sorry i couldn't stay longer or bring the car with me! i will try to make the effort to get to see you soon with me and the car! i had a lovely day and enjoyed meeting everyone. some for the first time and some again.

beer was lovely also and i look forward to many more pints of that in the future!

Thanks for the hospitailty from yourself & Frances over the weekend.
Always available for a free beer (or two..three..four). I lost count

The ladies had a good chat about how the guys could still have anything to talk about regards Stylus's after 10years !!

Who says we were talking about cars anyway ???

Good to see some of the old & new faces.

Nice car Jasper, hope the finances work out so's you can keep it

I was too busy taking pics for V8 dash & trim options, so no "people" pics

H'mmm , I have to say that Pete Smith's yellow faced instruments look really nice especially against the red paint job and black interior.

Matt , regarding 1 , 2 maybe 3 , 5 pints --- I thought I'd finish the beer off after you'd all gone so Monday I went into the shed for a couple and had to tip the box up to get any out

Actually it worked out very well on the numbers estimate for beer/food . I've had 3 pints between both boxes this week so 33 pints were consumed on Saturday , not much wine though . Three white plus five red

I'll be ok for the next few weeks on the red then
