tank filler ?
Yes you most definately do George . Is it an aircraft type flush fit with a little butterfly hinge down flap over the lock ??
If yes , then drill through the lowest dip under the flap into the void. I took mine to bits to make sure I could see the direction of drilling (remove lock nut etc.)and to be sure no alloy dust gets into the tank when you put it back in. I used a dremel with the smallest drill in the kit --- about 2mm as I recall.
In case it occured to you -------------- NO it doesn't get any rain water through it and I've been in some real corkers of storms when I ran it in on the road. The little flap seems to sort it plus the hole's in a concave hollow filled by the convex flap
Rob(lots of people have told me they made a breather into the tank or filler pipe --- not worth the work)

Re: tank filler ?
It is a flush cap and did think about drilling it but was unsure about the water ingress problem but problem solved thanks for the infostylussprinter wrote:Yes you most definately do George . Is it an aircraft type flush fit with a little butterfly hinge down flap over the lock ??
