Garage sale items

Post by DH2 »

I've started stripping my car for the rebuild, and have some serviceable items which won't be going back on the car.
I'll add more to this thread as I get bits off the car.

1. A pair of mildly scabby door cards - could be used as is with a bit of cleaning up, re-trimmed, or used as a template - SOLD.

2. A pair of nice aluminium handles/pulls - might want to use these with the door cards, very light! - SOLD.

3. Roof bars - good condition, just a couple of touch-ups needed near the mounts where I guess they have rubbed. - SOLD.

All items listed exclude postage which will be at cost (or you can arrange collection).
Paypal acceptable, but you cover any fees.

PM Sent re: RoofBars.

Would also be interested to see what else you have for sale as Locostbuilders wants £10 for me to see what you have for sale.

Tacho (speedo sold already) - made by ETB Instruments, and was running off the ECU signal on my car, not sure how you change this, but ETB provide great end-user support so may be able to help - good condition - SOLD.

300mm/12" Spal rad fan (pull type) - good working condition, but has been subject to some overspray - SOLD.

Various braided fuel hoses - 2x 5/16" 75mm, 2x 5/16" 35mm, 1x 1/4" 35mm, 1x 1/4" 25mm, 6x proper finishing grommets, 12x hose clips - £10.

Carpets - I pulled the remaining carpets out of the car yesterday. If they are of any use to anyone, you are welcome to them.
Does not include tunnel and floor carpets (they were already absent), just the ones down the sides and the rear bulkhead.
They are not in great condition, but may be usable, or would make good templates for cutting your own.

Rollbar - the car will be away to have a cage made soon(ish), so once that is done, I'll have the rollbar up for grabs too if anyone is looking for one?

Hi Dave

I would like the carpets to use as templates where about are you as your profile shows Cambridge-ish, we have an engineer pretty close to there who could arrange to collect them for me.

Cheers George

OK, the rollbar is up for grabs now.

Image Image Image

Overall height = 500mm.
Overall width = 930mm, width of hoop = 820mm, width between fitting plates on rear braces = 895mm.

Should fit all Stylus chassis without problem. In overall good condition, though some scratches to powder coating.

Open to offers...

Adjustable panhard rod. Polybushed, though one of the bushes may benefit from replacement.

Also still falling over the roll bar, if anyone needs one?
