A mate has a pair of these in his E-type, with vinyl cover.
Very comfortable, if a bit wide for my narrow rs.

$159 each, might be quicker/simpler in the long run
Obviuosly not as nice a having "I made them myself" seats

I got a quote for 2 pieces of 3mm ali £100. if weight isn't an issue you could do them in thinner steel

i have looked at these before, i love them they are just what i want but i have now bought three sets of seats and im not happy with any of them so its got to be made to measure for me, the metal price isnt a problem as i have access to sheet metal. and i worked as a fabricator. just didnt have the motivation to build my own, but now its the only way.
better get motivated

hi george, ive printed it out, and folded it up it just what i was looking for. how would i scale it up to fit me as the model is obviously too small.
