Corner weighting MUST be done with the ARB disconnected on one side THEN once balanced the ARB can be connected/adjusted while car is ON it's wheels without driver.
I'm impressed you got the hose over the lever arms , particularly as they're 90 degrees to the ' bar ' :P There's obviously no disadvantage but it looks like you have a hose in between the poly mounting blocks too , which isn't necessary. If with your method (no cable ties) the ARB floats too close to a water pipe or the oil filter , you will need to fit cable ties to give the hose stiffness , not merely to fit on

It took the best part of 14st to push them on and that was with boiling water and lots of soap, once the soap was washed away and the bar dried the hose really sticks in place. I put the one in the middle partly for asthetics, but as the hose is a tight fit on the bar it reduces movement even more as it's twice the amount of hose that now needs to move if it tries to drift.

If I find that it does drift under load I'll get the metal collars.

A guy in France with a FURY lightweight race chassis , BEC powered , has ordered an ARB . First one in 2013 so that'll give me something to play at when it's not too cold in the shed . Snow isn't a great incentive to leave the central heating

Just finished making his Fury lightweight ARB and all painted up ready to post when dry. The Fury chassis can't be fitted in the same way with my ARB as Stylus's , so I make up alluminium angle lengths and slot the upright edge to allow the ' bar ' to pass through . They bolt from the front lower chassis rail to the inner diagonals in front of the engine , about 300mm's apart .
Our Stylus lower shock mounts are wider apart but Fury's are so close together that the ARB wouldn't be supported well ------ so I now have 4 different fitting kits for the same ARB , all JP derived chassis.

The Fury race chassis ARB that I posted to Southern France has arrived and ' Nico ' the owner has fitted it , so here's a few pics . He didn't want to drill the chassis so my advice was to weld steel across the two chassis rails(front and diagonal)then both poly clamps bolt to the steel plate.

He's fitted the ARB now and just sent me this video of his first drive , having adjusted all parameters to my advised settings ---- no comments as yet on how it felt but he seems to have enjoyed it on track here :P

So that's two guys on here with a Jaguar lump now --- Chris Hill being the first to squeeze one into his silver RT when working with Tim , in the early days :D
Also picked up my spare set of tinted headlamp lenses while here for a browse

Think its 3 Rob - the guy in Taunton with Neds old car has done the same too - thats the one on youtube with the big hole the bonnet as per Kevs link.

Your ARB's ready to collect John :) --- just needs the paint to dry longer yet . It's a while since I made one up for a Stylus , as most have been for Striker's & Fury's recently. It's just the brackets required that are different.

Yes , you're right Matt , I'd forgotten about that one ------ probably because we don't really know him on this forum
BUT ------ John 'may' just hold on to the Jag V6 because he's previously built a high spec XE plus he now has a very nice dry sump kit for it off the part built he bought.
