I just bolted the ali over the top as a bit more heat and fire protection as turbo rotary engines give off lots of heat and the exhaust runs in front of it. Beingn bolted it doesnt seem to have any issues with expansion.
Keep up the good work, what do you have planned next?
I have loads left to do still,
I have brought a replacement engine which im rebuilding at the moment, Need to find somebody who can modify the sump aswell.

What a very thorough job Ross
You may have had a fault filled Stylus to work from but you really are going through every detail and sorting as you go ---- very nice to see
Tim/ssc would be pleased to see how thorough you're being about a car that ' bugged ' him over what it needed but many skated around
Nice to chat with you yesterday at Matt's event at Aldershot and didn't he do well

Wow, I'm impressed. I've stripped the powder coating off the chassis in small areas at a time, it takes ages. You've spent masses of time on that. How did you flip the thing on it's back?

Its alot of work but will be worth it in the end! I got another couple of coats of paint on the chassis monday evening which came out really well
Yeh was nice to see a Stylus screaming round
Matt dont really well, The Lotus Exige was going round about 10 seconds a lap slower than Matt which is awesome, I got a few pics which I will upload when I get a minute.
