Catching your attention

Post by stylussprinter »

Members missing posts seems to be common , although I don't really understand why or how :o
I mention this because a few have shown surprise regarding my PRESCOTT meet announcement in the EVENTS area. (I've been jollying some along via PM's  also texts to those I have numbers for :P )
When I look at the forum , if any new posts have appeared since I last read that particular posting ------------- a large white TICK appears next to that subject area :!:

Are others not seeing these ' ticks ' or is it not enabled in their screen :?: :?: :?: I am totally lost as to why people have missed anything unless simply not reading those ' ticked ' postings
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

Super late reply to your post here, but I think relevant nonetheless.

I don't check the forum as a matter of habit daily but use the email subscription to each sub forum to notify me of new posts. Once the software has sent one email it won't send another about any post until you log in to the forum. For a while I wasn't getting any updates as I hadn't visited since it had sent me an email and I hadn't clocked why - when I logged in I'd missed loads of stuff. So, just a heads up for everyone there.

When logged in, new post icons work as expected though.
