Alternative gear lever

Post by Shooter63 »

At the moment the car is fitted with what I believe to be a cut down std gear lever , the problem that I have is when changing into 2nd or 4th my arm gets contorted and hits the handbrake ( it's mounted in the conventional car place) is there a short straight stick available or is it a case of cutting the original and welding it back together. I have a workshop full of various machines that can turn perfectly good metal into swarf so the cut and weld option isn't a problem.

Mind's a cut down standard shifter which has just been angled slightly. Seems to work fine.
