hi all
not been here for some time but still have my little stylus . It's now back on the road for the summer and still has the fire blade engine fitted however I have just got my self a 1600 cc x flow with a 4 speed gear box and would like some help in identifying the engine as I am unsure of witch manual I need to get for rebuilding needs to the bottom right rear it reads 711m 6015 b-a to the right front it has 29 h 80. to the left side it reads ford 157 or t 57 all the parts need for it to run are with it but I need to replace a lot of the gasket's and a couple of oil seals the engine it's self has a very good compression and now sign's of oil or water in the cylinder's any help or tip's would be appreciated thanks regards ian

If I cast my mind back, the 711 block was the best one to have baring certain exotic items, I would have thought that a quick phone to burton engineering would be your best bet as to buying the correct parts etc.
