Hi all, sorry I missed Llandow, some domestic and financial problems...
I went around the chassis torqing up last weekend and found that my rocking arms won't grip the top ball joints. It seems that the holes in the arms are oversized. Before I try to get some replacements (bearing in mind recent posts about the availability of parts), have I missed something silly? or if not is there something I could do to use the arms I have ?

They are all tight but if you jack the car of the ground and get someone to press the brake pedal and grab the top of the tyre and push and pull it front to back the rocker can move on the pin giving you a nice clunk. When I contacted Tim about this he said to machine the pin down slightly to reduce the movement, These rockers were the ones supplied by Peter Powell and the company making them were rubbish apparently.Pete&Matt wrote:George, they should be narrower than the arms. The arms however are centralised by the shock and the hub upright. When this is all done up tight, they shouldnt move.

Which Bit ?
Are you guys refering to the central pivot, or the ball joint at the top of the upright ? My problem is with the BALL JOINT.

Yes I am talking about the cental pivot point, being they are not the best made I can understand you problem.
