had a fantastic day a mate of mine was competing, he has a mini 1380, won the class that day.
just made me want to enter something, does anyone recomend any novice events which isnt too serious really want to get into speed eventing but a bit reluctant to jump in at the deep end. i need to learn howdrive fast first.

Just do it and learn as you compete . That's what I did and got soundly thrashed in the process but that's how you learn technique -- getting it wrong  Basically sprinting is (apart from somewhere like Goodwood) contained aggression . Nothing too harsh -- turning , braking , accelerating etc . A mix of gentleness and aggression
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !
