Re: Squeaky suspension
Hi there Stylussprinter, The forum has been working for a while now, although few visitors it seems. Anyway I can confirm that the whole front upper rocking arm pivot pin bearing arrangement on my 97 Stylus is indeed from the equivalent part from a classic mini - both bearing and shaft. Pretty good ...

Re: Squeaky suspension
I used to have alot of squeaking from all over due to the rear end bushes having been assembled dry. Are you sure it's at the front? If so then the rocker arm is from a Classic Mini trailing arm axle/shaft, complete with roller bearings and grease nipple - could be worth having a look in case it's ...

Re: Retro rides weekender 2022
It was a good session but I am an absolute novice when it comes to track stuff. I chickened out of the actual circuit stuff and had a go at autosolo

Re: petrol tank
A small updte for anyone thinking of doing this: I just had a new tank made for a Dutton, using an Bosch 044 style pump. They made it wrong unfortunately so that the fuel outlet comes out at the top so I was concerned that the pump might not work due to lack of a gravity feed. So we just tried it us...

Re: Part built stylus RT
Dropping the seat base lower in the floor could also be good if your taller than say 5" 10'. Also helps any rollover bar fit inside a hood LED headlamps would be worth considering although any 7" can be made to fit if you've got the mouldings for round ones as well C Class Merc Radiator v ...

Re: Part built stylus RT
Nice one. I saw this on a trailer at Stoneleigh Modern engine is def way to go. Ive had alot of success recently using the OEM Ford system which can be alot cheaper than after market. That said, itshouldnet be necessary to whip the engine out all the time so I'm very happy with my traditional bonnet...

We were there on the Sunday and there was one other - an unfinished RT on a trailer.
Never did speak to anyone about it.
Car was smooth both ways!

Who's Coming?
I'm planning to be there all weekend with the Stylus, semidetached with a Dutton too. Luckily the club sites are next to eachother
There is a picture of my yellow peril in the show guide!

I had the Stylus out for a short driver yesterday after a bit of a layup doing dash alterations

Re: Dashboard Contents list
As we know there can be many many electrical connections to the dashboard that makes removal and replacement a pain - especially on Stylus where the windscreen does insist on getting in the way all the time! Putting it all on a plug and socket would help but it tends to be difficult to find a suitab...

With those bucket seats, does your car have the bar across the top of the floor?

Re: Interior
Very nice. Where did you get that done? My carpets were from Peter Powell as a standard set but unfortunately as the tunnel is a bit taller than standard they never fitted 100% I also notice you have those grp she'll type seats. How do you find them height wise and width wise. Do you have that bar o...
