Got my freshly built black top remapped today, 198bhp at the wheels (about 240 flywheel bhp).
Paul worked his magic - new cams, ported head, pocketed pistons, rod bolts, lightened flywheel etc.
I was hoping for 220 so imagine my glee!

That's a fantastic at the wheels bhp Mine doesn't make that , although I wasn't convinced in NORTHAMPTON MOTORSPORT's rollers showing 157bhp from my engine which Paul's dyno showed 243bhp at 8300 rpm flywheel . I don't run 243bhp due to no drysump so it's rev-cut at 7750rpm gives 231bhp .

I've only driven it in the damp so far, but quite looking forward to opening it up!
Cost? With all the goodies like flywheel, clutch, alternator and bracketry, inlet manifold, verniers etc it came to a little under £3k.
there are plenty of cheaper ways to do it, but you know with Dunnell that it will work out of the box.

I'm actually a bit worried whether the rods are up to the power?

thats a really high peak power, if you're limiting at 7750 (I'm planning the same after a bit more running in, currently limited to 7600) then maybe you should swap cams? These are supposed to peak at 7600 i think.
other point is, i really don't know how accurate the rolling road was, they should really calibrate them shouldn't they?!
