reckon you could almost justify yourself a sequential box - just tell the mrs how much time and money it would save you in wrecked heads!

Long time since you posted the above Alex but in 10yrs it's the only time I've done it . Partly because when seriously chasing champ points , I was doing around 15 events and only one circuit ever needed 5th gear and that was Goodwood. Having said that I've always found 5th to 4th entering St Mary's very imprecise selection wise , also Woodcote (often being out of gear too long 
) So I've just been lucky maybe .
